The aim of the ZEAL is to stimulate intellectual and artistic capacity of management students, said Dr. Ajay Prakash, Director of IILM Academy of Higher Learning, Lucknow. The day turned out to be fruitful for the hard working students as the institute celebrated its two-day annual function ZEAL 2010. On 27th March 2010, the winners of various competitive academic, cultural and sports events, meritorious alumnus and other meritorious students were felicitated. Welcoming the Chief Guest and other dignitaries, Dr. Ajay Prakash further said that ZEAL provides the opportunity to demonstrate talents, enhance skills, build personality and excel in career. He also said that the zeal emphasis on learning by doing.
Expressing his pleasure for the institute’s work, the Chief Guest, Anil Shukla, Head, CII, U.P inaugurated the event. He said that today mere acquisition of knowledge is not sufficient. Knowledge can better be used as a tool to find better practical solutions.
Anant Swaroop, Vice President (Legal), Bajaj Group of Companies in his address as Guest of Honor said that there are a lot of expectations of Industries from Management degree holders. Elaborating on the issue he further said that the industries expectations can be met if they make good use of managerial knowledge in solving critical problems. He expressed happiness that the Institute has rightly focused on the issue and have made these competitive co-curricular activities as part of its educational activities.
The Chief Guest and the Guest of Honor congratulated the winners of various competitive Academic, Cultural and Sports events and gave away the prizes and felicitated meritorious alumni and other meritorious students.
