Technical education in Uttar Pradesh has attained a new glory to allow self finance institutions in the field of Engineering, Pharmacy and Management, Architecture, etc

Inspired by the vision of eminent scientist Dr. M. C. Saxena, several institutions in the field of Engineering, Technology, Management, Pharmacy, Education etc. have been established over the years at the campus of Dr. M. C. Saxena Group of Colleges. In order to motivate and inspire the technical/managerial skills of the group an Annual Fest “DISHA-2010” started from March 12 at the Barawankala campus.

The program began with Saraswati Vanana. In the day time the following competitions were conducted such as Quiz (Techno, Pharma & Bizz), Dance competition, Debate, Model Display, Powerpoint presentation, software solutions, Poster designing & Website designing etc.

The Mayor of Lucknow, Dr. Dinesh Sharma who is also a leading Prof. of Lucknow University had inaugurated the function by lighting of the lamp. Chairman of the Group Dr. M.C. Saxena welcomed the chief guest. Dr. Dinesh Sharma in his address to the students had encouraged the students to move forward after getting proper knowledge, but he also emphasized on Indian culture & values. He also gave some illustrations to encourage students.

Mr. Gauri Shankar, Zonal Manager, & Mr. Verma, A.G.M., Bank of India, Lucknow was the guest of honor for the program. The Rock Band of the college gave a wonderful performance. The last program of the day, the Fashion Show presented by the students of MCSGOC entertained the audience present there.

On the second day of the Annual Fest Daler Mehndi, the Punjabi Pop Singer was invited. He sang his famous song 'na na na na re na re" and'bolo tarara'. He also sang some old hindi songs. The students danced on his songs and enjoyed the evening.

The event became a success with the help of Dream Huntz, an Event and Brand Promotion Company.
