Shri Ramswaroop Memorial College of Engineering and Management, celebrated its 9th All India Annual Fest Abhivyakti 2010 sponsored by Hero Honda, main sponsors. The last day of the fest was marked by the mesmerizing event “Snoop Dogs” organized by the “LITERARY CELL” and the mega event “STAR NIGHT”. Famous Punjabi singer “JASBEER JASSI” came down to the city as their star performer who was assisted by the dance troupe “ZEAL”. Jassi started off with his 1999 chart buster “Dil Le Gayi Kudi Gujrat Di”, which not only energized the audience, but also made the day memorable and lasting. He belted out many more foot-tapping numbers like Mahiya, Haule Haule, Ek Gendi Gidde Vich, tera ishq nachaya, Aao Na Saiyan and many more Bollywood numbers.
More than five to six thousand students attended the star night. The atmosphere was high on octane as the dance troupe “ZEAL” danced on various tracks. They set the stage on fire with their mesmerizing performance. As the show progressed, they accompanied “JASSI” and performed along with him. The singer obliged the students by singing the tracks they demanded and later signed autographs for them and posed for pictures.
Media Co-ordinator’s Rishi Gupta, Prashant Agarwal and Saurabh Srivastava informed that the fest had many enthusiastic and highly anticipated events like Rithumbhra (Fashion Show), Apni Pathshala (STEP), Euphony(Music), RJ Hunt (Radio Mirchi), Light & Sound Show, D-Suspense(DRACULA) and the exciting & blazing performances by JASBEER JASSI and the dance troupe ZEAL.
