Shri Ramswaroop Memorial College of Engineering and Management’s 9th Annual Fest Abhivyakti 2010 was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Shri Lakshmi Narayan Agarwal, a leading industrialist of Uttar Pradesh, who is also the chairman of the college. In his keynote, Chairman of the college, formally announced the opening of the 9th Annual Fest which is sponsored by Hero Honda, main sponsor; HSBC Bank, Anandi Water Park & Resorts, Universal Sompo as our co-sponsors; MMM Rice Mill, Anik Ghee, i-Ball, I-Fit, Bank of India, NIIT, Sahara Unique, Fun Cinemas as their associate sponsors. Srijan, the literary club organized the English debate in which Shantanu Pandey won the first prize. It was followed by other events like Mime, Act & React by Dracula society. The dance club ‘Step’, organized a plethora of events like solo dance competition, duet dance, jugalbandi, eastern solo, apni pathshala in which the zealous students set the stage on fire.
Many off-stage events were also organized during the day. Cloth painting, tattooing, bollywood quiz, spin a yarn, Cruela’s cupola, dumb charades and mehandi competition were some of them. Participants exhibited various skills in these events and participated with full zest and enthusiasm.
Media Co-coordinators, Rishi Gupta and Prashant Agarwal informed that on 18th February main attraction of the event was the fashion show “Rithumbhara”. The core competence of the fashion show was its sheer grandeur. The whole show was marked by students in dazzling attires as per the theme of Abhivyakti, done with style, depicting patriotism for the country. More than 10 colleges are going to join the SRMCEM family as guests for the cultural fest.
