Shri Ramswaroop Memorial College of Engineering and Management, Lucknow, organized an Annual Fest, Abhivyakti 10. It marked its opening with an astounding annual rock fest, Xero ’10, formally known as Rage.

On the first day of this rock fest, i.e 16th February, 2010 preliminaries for the band completion took place. Many rock bands, namely NOS, Prelude, Ikhtiyaar, Yuva (college band), XLNC, Axis – 6 and Evil’s Council and many more participated in the competition. Monty and Shrishti (members of Trishna Band), and RJ Abhishek from Radio Mirchi 98.3 were the judges for the day.

In the evening, after the competition, Trishna (sponsored by Idea), which appeared at Idea Rocks India, set the stage on fire by its incredible performance. They enthralled the audience with their scintillating performance on the bollywood numbers: Tu Jaane Na, Tum Mile, Aadat, Bakhuda etc.

The piling anxiety came to an end with the declaration of the results and distribution of cash prizes of Rs 30000, catapulting NOS, YUVA, AXIS-6 and Evil’s Council to the finals which took place on 17th February, 2010 in which Evil’s Council emerged as the winner. The icing on the cake was the rocking and mesmerizing performance by ASAR (Delhi based rock band), which made everyone drove to their music.
