4-day 'Macfair International-2010' - City Montessori School
 
 

 Lucknow,July 16:City Montessori School,Mahanagar(Campus II) is organizing

 4-day Macfair International-2010(nternational Maths,
Science and Computer competition)from 24 to 27 July,2010 at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium.A number of teams of students from Nepal ,Sri-Lanka and various states of India are 
reaching Lucknow to Participate in this international competition.This information was given by the convenor of Macfair International -2010 and principal of CMS Mahanagar(CampusII),
Mrs.Jyoti Kashyap at the press conference.Talking to journalists,Mrs.Kashyap said that the 9th Macfair International will prove to be an effective medium to communicate the message
to people for keeping the earth and environment green and clean.Though Macfair is known in the world for the competitions organized in maths,science 
and computer but a few more competitions are added in it for creating awareness in children about the environment which has become a global issue now.
 
Mrs kashyap gave out the details of the competitions of Macfair International and said that spellathon,Maths Quiz,Half-A-Minite,Green Window,Skit Competition,Twin Quinturdles,Crack it if you can,
Green Teen Quiz and Science Model Display etc,will be held in two groups viz Junior and Senir Category.Renowned experts will  judge these competitions.She hoped that these contests will bring out the latent 
talents of students and their personality will also develop.Besides,the participating students will also get an oppurtunity to meet the visiting experts and scientists and gain more and more.
 
Dr.Jagdish Gandhi,renowned educationist and founder of C.M.S,said on the occasion that  Science unveils the secrets of earth,
reveals the truth and this truth will unite the world one day.If we wish to solve global problems we must put importance to creative and humanistic growth of science,he said.Science should be used for the basic needs,constructive 
development of world peace,then only we will be able to go hand in hand with the world.Dr.Jagdish Gandhi profusely appreciated the efforts of Mrs.Jyoti Kashyap,Principal of CMS Mahanagar and convenor of Macfair-2010 for organizing this 
this international confrence and hoped that this event will motivate the students of India and abroad to move on the path of unity and will make their outlook,thinking and perception more global.
